Does anyone have photos from the Firecracker event at the Aurora airport this last Sunday? As I was judging Adv/Exp I had no time to take pics.

Alan Hahn was kind enough to video my 2nd Profile flight which I will eventually post on YouTube. That should open me up for some critique!!

I'll give a brief report. We had a beautiful day except for the wind. It was fairly nasty at times. A full-scale pilot stopped by and commented that he decided not to take his Cub up as the wind speed was 15 to 20 knots at times. Saturday was stunt heaven (wouldn't you know it!

The attendance was fairly light; 13 stunt fliers and 3 Carrier fliers. 4 in Intermediate, 4 in Advanced and 5 in Expert. We also had 8 or 9 entries in Profile Stunt (Crist has the scoreboard pics). A few additional Tree Town members and some Chicagoland Cirlcle Cutters members showed up as spectators. We finished 2 rounds fairly quickly and Rich Tupper fired up the grills and served burgers and bratwurst (all you could eat!).

Judges were: Larry Lindburg and Crist Rigotti - Intermediate; Jim Schuett and Fred Krueger - Advanced; Alan Hahn and Fred Krueger - Expert; Jim Renkar and Rich Tupper - Profile.

The Concours (Pilots' Choice) trophy was awarded to Crist Rigotti for his 'Harbinger'.
Congrats to Crist for another gorgeous airplane!

Crist Rigotti has scoreboard pics. My guess is that he will post photos after the NATS. Rich Tupper (the CD) has the scoreboard and results. So this is from memory. I'll update after I talk to Rich.
