E-Z Stunt 40 Done

Well here it is all done. It uses a Das Stunter foam wing, upright engine, a hatch to access the flap horn for easy flap elevator adjustments, the tip weight simply screws into the wing tip and a simple trim scheme. Finished wieght is 46 oz, I'm happy with the way it turned out but if I build another one I won't make the fuse so tall other than that I'm happy

Another "Das Stunter" modified in looks to the builder's desire!

Actually the tall fuselage (not only keeping things simple) adds flat side area that helps minimize precession. Negatively, the plane will tend to "weathervane" a bit in higher wind, but even then it tends to turn the nose out when you are upwind (a good thing) and in when you are down wind (helping to relieve some of the extra forces). Sometimes there is purpose. A real Stuka has a very thin (not very tall) rear fuselage. Matt's recent Stuka "sorta look a-likes" feature a much taller fuselage for the very same reason. Not as scale-like, but these are built as stunters.

ummmmm....where does the pilot sit Looks very neat, where did you get the plans for that. That would be an excellent plane for old guys like me that need a refresher course every spring!

There are no plans I built it using my own numbers and Das Stunter wing cores, the Das Stunter is the same basic idea, box fuse and upright engine just PM Leonard here and he can give you all the info you need.
