Yes, a 2.5cc engine is a .15. I understand that Cipolla is a good engine. Do not have one and have no idea of availability of parts, etc.

That was a good motor 20 years ago. It was a .15 built on a .21 case so the crank had big ports and it ran well. Now it would not be competitive even on the 40% it used to run on.

Yeah that's what I thought I have an old Fox .15 much modified it runs like stink!!! But is not legal anymore. 10% nitro and 4mm ventury is what is the norm now. I would like to get my hands on an old Cipolla .15! Wide open venturi and unlimited nitro!! Those were the days!!

try a modern f2d engine and you won't think about the good old days. Expensive, yes. Screams to bloddy #### on 10%. No messing with the internals. No rework, no trick parts, simple break in and they don't break. Just keep it clean and run good prety normal fuel.

What Dave says is 100% true. The Cyclon /Fora 2.5cc are aewsome. I have an 80's design La-Gotta with Fox .15BB and its fun. Also have GRS F2D models with Cyclon2.5cc No way to compare. The Fox is fun as it starts very easy but performace lacks big time.

The rules were changed to 4MM venturi about 22 - 23 years ago, hasn't been competitive since then. Have several I bought for $12 back then, plug isn't available as far as I know so runniing them isn't in the plans.
