Ukey or suitable subsitute

I am what you all describe as a retread trying to get back into C/L after many many years of doing other things. I recently planted a Flite Streak Trainer thru pilot error and am looking for a new plane to relearn on. In reading the forums here and elsewhere I get the impression that the Ukey's would be and exdellent choice. Unfortunatly also readig the forums and thru personel trying Jim Pearson seem sa little hard to contact. Rather than send my check off to a potential black hole can anyone either assure me sending my check will result in a kit or recommend a suitable subsitute from another vendor?

There, you will find a very,very good choice for relearning stunt and
Combat flying; The Gotcha Streak 2000. It's based on considerable flight
and construction experience for the SLow Combat event...just like the
Ukey is. Here's the link...

Just a little note for newcomers, the new Streak III features a "plug-in) wing that is one piece tip to tip. It glues into the fuselage in a 1/32 ply saddle +-and makes a VERY sturdy plane. The once shown on the web site has now gone through 5 straight in crashes and only needed minor repairs. Trim can go from mild to wild, depending on your needs.

On a further note, we can supply it ready built for an extra $50. Just glue in the wing and tail and hook up the controls.

Thanks for the info, I didnt have Jims phone # but now that I do Ill give him a call. Ill keep the Gotcha Streak in midn for another project if the Ukey works out.

Just a thought- take a quick look at the Hangar 9 PT-19. It's a great looking ARF that flies pretty well out of the box... a box that contains everything needed. If you have a .35 to .42 anything laying around the garage, you can even use that.

Ukey or whatever. You would be waisting time without a mentor for instructions as you learn the pattern.
