Flite Streak 15

Hi Folks, Does someone have a plan from the FliteStreak for 15 engines?
If the FliteStreak plan is not available, any plane plan in this style will be welcome (for 15 engine)

Brodak jr Flite Streak and jr Lightning Streak, plans are available from Brodak. As well as the kits.

Hi Carlo, If you are considering using a medium to strong .15, then
the full sized Flite Streak is a great .15 sized model. Some of my
friends have flown their Streaks very successfuly using .15 diesel
engines....and that was on 60'X.015" lines. The engines that they used
were PAW .19BB and.15BB, MVVS .12(yes, .12 diesel) and a ZOM 2.49cc
diesel. I have a Russian ST .2.49 Clone in mine. If you want to use a
six ounce engine, then I know that the Jr versions of the Lighting and
Flite Streaks are too small in wing area; they will fly okay with a six ounce .15
but the wing loading is a bit too high for excellent performance. The Jr's will fly
much better with 3-4 ounce engines. I write with considerable
experience building and flying .15 cu" models.

Hi again Carlo, I just had an additional thought, There is a similar
model that also flys very well with .15 engines; it is called "The Smousen";
it has a 330 sq" wing instead of the 390 sq"s of the Streaks. Barry Baxter
has plans for the Smousen and the Flite Streak. See it at Bare's site:

Just open the kits page one tab, it is a Modelhob kit.

I fly my ARF FliteStreak with a Fox 15BB (newest version) on 52 foot lines. It's a lot of fun.

GMA once wrote me that his favorite "show off" airplane was a full size Flite Streak with an Oliver Tiger .15 diesel.

For a good .15 GMA made the profile Peacemaker. Looks like a Flite Streak and is sized between the Streak and Streak Jr.

If you are building from a kit, the full sized Flite Streak will work well....or maybe shorten the span by a couple inches....
The "15" sized Flite Streaks fly pretty well with a Norvel .74 or an .09 of newer variety....
