Shouldn't hurt...
A bit of extra fuss, though. The strength of a sheeted foam wing is mainly at the surface. Yep, where the air meets the paint... The foam is to hold the sheeting in the proper place and shape to do what we need.
Still, local reinforcement of stress points - particularly things like the gear mounts and hinges - is not a bad idea. Think about where the stress is applied to the foam (which is what will tear away under excess loads or shocks). The more you can spread these loads, the more able the foam will be to withstand them.
