EVER HAVE THAT FUNNY FEELING????

Ive been mail ordering for a few yrs and had a couple close calls as in ya get that funny feeling your gonna get stiffed after youve sent the funds, dont know maybe Im telepathic but its happend to me acouple times, and the scary part is "I was right!!!! turns out I fianally got the item but thier was trouble along the way, this ever happen to you???

If buying on e-bay I use the seller's feedback percentage. I'm very leery of buying from anyone without at least 99% positive rating. The only time I did buy with a lower rated seller I ended up in a dispute, the e-bay dispute procedure took care of it right away. Actually filing the dispute cleared it up, at the time e-bay would freeze the seller's account, that got me immediate action from the seller!

One time a tranaction took a very long time for delivery, seller didn't answer e-mails. Turned out he was in the hospital with heart problems and kind of out of commission, whew.

I got that feeling only twice: Once was with Andy, the C/L supplier who was to be the sole distributor for the Jim Walker Firecat. My suspicions were confirmed when my $80+ check was cashed, no Firecat ever came, and everyone in the C/L comunity was looking for ol' Andy!
There was hoopla raised about the money, lawyers were mentioned...
I didn't pursue it, had other things to do.

The second time was with a supplier on the Bay, it turned out that his computor crashed, but AOL was able to retrieve his lost info. The seller got ahold of me, sent my kit, and bonused me with a nice C/L plan of the Texaco Racer! I have been a customer of his ever since.

If, however, you're concerned solely with eBay sellers --- and want quality Cox products --- rely completely on "Xenalook" in British Columbia, Canada. Bernie and Xena have pretty much anything you'd ever need in Cox items, and are a pleasure to deal with. Excellent and timely communication there. Highly recommended!!!

Mr and Mrs Look are top notch. They presented me with their entry engine after the 049 Collectors Tach Race in which I conducted on behalf of the group. What a nice suprise. They will keep us in Cox stuff for a long time.

Well I sent a kit to an individual several years ago in anticipation of receiving a kit that he was developing. The development fell thru. That individual I found out at the time was having fimily problems. When they were cleared up I sent the person a note. Anyway I guess the wife was supposed to take care of it(his Wife) according to him. Still waiting, but, I would probably not build the kit anyway.
