Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon in Kansas/Missouri/Nebraska region.

The Worldwide Ringmaster Fly-A-Thon is coming up on October 1st and 2nd. Does anyone here have any information concerning any type of coordinated activities in the Kansas/Missouri/Nebraska region to support this endeavor? What is going on in Topeka? A rumor is circulating of some sort of activity there. There can be no doubt that there are quite a few flyable Ringmasters of various types both in the Kanas City, MO/KS as well as Topeka, Wichita and Omaha areas. It would be a shame not to put some of these planes (many just hanging on the wall or lying around in an attic or garage) to work racking up some flights for the cause and contributing to the World Wide total. I have two Sterling S-1 full sized Ringmasters (one with a Fox .35 stunt and the other with a Fox .29 stunt, also a Baby Ringmaster with a Cox Golden Bee .049.) Chuckling... bump it often enough and even those of us who only stop by once a week will notice! Omaha is having a fun fly on October 9 which I have to admit is a week late but folks are more than welcome to bring out a Ringmaster or two. It will be at Seymour Smith Park on 72nd street about 5 miles south of I-80. Hope to see you there! We will have stunt judging if you wish to have a pattern judged for practice reasons. Entry fees go towards lunch at the field.

Only three days to go till Zero hour.......

Wellzero hour came and went. This same guy posts stuff like this on SH. It has also been posted on that site where we were going to be and the times. I was half hour late the first day but guys were already there and had flights in. I was early on the second day and was eating my egg and sausage sandwiches when they showed. We had people showing up all day. BUT GUESS WHO THE KNOW SHOW WAS. The report has been sent to the originator of this event.

Don;t know who taking the information, But, this weekend Oct.1 The Florida Racing & Sports Flyers in Jacksonville, FL put up 19 flights with 3 Ringmasters. 2 with a fox 35 & the littl e one, a 1/2A Ringmaster.
