The late Dick Wolsey remembered this video, found a copy and had CD's made, but the picture quality was only marginally better than this video. Bart Klapinski was involved in Disneyland flying but wasn't involved in this video. Looks like the mid 50's.

The big Buick in flim wasn't from mid 50's. I would say a little later but not much. As a kid in late 50's early 60's I did not see anything like this. It was a great time as every month new items came out. Cox had some great little engines. RR1/ Space Hopper/ then TD's. Ambroid released kit line with Ares/ Still- Stuka Stunt. Sterling came out with a foam P-51 with Sportsman .15. Never seen one at field. Cox has low wing plane Cherokee with Sportsman .15 also.

#4 sourceThe Buick in front of the hobby shop was a 1956, but the Oldsmobile and Corvair at the field were 1960. Unsure about the Corvette, since 4 headlights were introduced in 1958, so it could have been a '58, '59, or'60, since the noses were essentially the same.

The three "Cox pilots" were Keith Palmer,George Molitor ( the taller man) and Lee Heinly. I had the privilege of flying with all three when I worked at the Cox Thimble Drome. Keith originated the flying of three P-40s at one time and I learned a little later on. George Molitor was learning as well but, I don't recall how successful he was.Those were five really good years at Disneyland.

At about 3:50 the short pilot in the circle with two others looks like Jack Garcia. He worked for Hi Johnson. They are flying at the Sepulveda Basin in Van Nuys, CA. If that is Jack then the rest of the guys are probably Circle Burners and it looks like one is working on an FAI Team Racer.
