Florida controline flying

I now live in Seagrove, FL. This is midway between Destin and Panama City. I'm wanting to contact anyone to fly with.

That's a little out of my range. I live in Miami and fly in Sunrise, west of Ft. Lauderdale.

If you find yourself east in Jacksonville, we would be happy to fly with you.

I used to fly contests over there years ago. I lived in Winter Park back in the early 70's.

I would like to get over there sometime. I used to fly combat and still can I think.

BP, have we met, we have a group that flys at the cocoa land fill on 524 we all belong to the IRKS club we have a very nice grass circle, actually 3 circles if we want them bob whitney

We may have crossed paths. I used to be an IRKS member and flew rc at their now closed Viera site...and at the Valkaria Airport in Malabar. All before they had the 524 site. I was flying control line where ever I could find a place in the Palm Bay area. Now I live north about 30 miles, on Merritt Island. I may join the club again and start flying at their cl site.

Rae Fritz was the instigator behind this county provided field. Over about 10 years he pestered the County management until they agreed (with teh help of the EPA, who was on the County's back to re-purpose the old landfill it used to be....) Rae flew Stunt, Combat and Team Race "Back in the day". He flew with Stubblefield and the texas guys and flew Stunt with Gieseke in south Florida.

I have a few C/L planesw left I could blow the dust of one day...

I remember having had contact with you before. My wife and I like to go to two different restaurants in Niceville and drive across Hwy. 20 to do so. We must be near you when we do.

I called you earlier this year. Are you still renting bikes on the beach on weekends? I do some flying by myself usually at the Callaway Recplex during the week. Sundays mornings Bill Garcia and I fly at the Lynn Haven RecPlex off 390 in Lynn Haven weather permiting. We used to fly alot at Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach but I now think glow planes are banned there. Drop me an e-mail.

There are two Clubs. Actually three.

Google Palm Beach RC Club.

The other Club, which is closer to Jupiter, is on a landfill.

No CL there.

The third Club is private and in Stuart.
