Is there anyone that will build a plane for cheap and will still fly good?

Buy an ARF many available. Building a kit or from plans is alot of work. What plane are you looking for?? I have an All American SR. OTS stunt ship only flown a few times. New ST C .35 Stunt. Only $250.00 but will not ship.

I have a Sig Super Chipmunk on the way. I have never built a built up fuselage plane and dont have the tools to build one.

Well, if you've built a profile it's the same tools.

What about like the fuselage jigs and wing jigs?

Is it possible to build a fuselage without a jig?

Is that a real question? It's called using a ruler, some pins
and glue and paying attention to detail. I taught my kids that
if you don't try you will never learn. Don't be such a wuss
just do it. You might even find out it is fun! RJ

What Awfuldog said.....the laser cut kits today are so precise that they are MUCH simpler/easier to build than the kits of even a decade ago...

Thanks guys! I'll give it a try. I've only built profiles and decided to branch out. So I'll try it.

Jigs are helpful, but not needed to build true. Build right over the plans on a board that pins will stick into and you'll be good to go.

Go to the RSM distribution web site. On the lower left click on "Building Guides". Download the building guide for the Mackey Lark. Print it out. Follow those instructions while building the Chipmunk, they are similar except for the cowling details (the Chipmunk is easier).

If the plan isn't full size, you can just draw a line on a long sheet of paper and build the fuselage over that. It is easy to get it straight if you have a reference line.
