Tank accessibility! Just another thing! Possibly?

My build is getting more involved by the day.

The more questions I ask, the more information I'm given, and the more I'm learning.

Unfortunately, to incorporate this information in a design, great information as it is, requires a bit of extra work. I'll take that back, requires a great deal of extra work. Actually much more than I realized.

I'm betting on others previous experience, that is, it will be worth all the extra effort.

Now it looks like I'll have to incorporate a way/method to allow access to my tank also. Correct?

Would it be foolish to just button that area up?

Is access, hatches or whatever, built into models to allow for tank removal? Status quo?

If its not accessible you will wish it was!
After coming back to C/L every thing I have built has accessible and removable tanks.
May or may not need to reinforce this area of the airplane or make the hatch a stressed member.

How did that J Roberts bell crank work out in the Gee Bee?

I have your bellcrank placed nicely with the Gee Bee Z. And yes, I expect to move forward with that conversion to CL soon.

I held off because I was concerned about both wings being the same size, the dihedral and a couple of other issues I will get answers to. Also not sure if the old, but NIB OS 80, is power enough for it?

Anyway, thanks to the fine members of Stuka Stunt, most of the issues with that model are solved.

As you see, I have something else going. What's going is turning out to be more of a challange than the RC stuff I'm used to building.

And yes, I will make change for an accessible and removable tank.

Yes, this will require more design work but I know it will be worth it.
