I privately sent you an email thanking you for donating the kit that I won at the FCM contest, but thought that a public thank you was in order as well. I have not opened the kit yet (it has been tough, but I have been pretty busy since I returned from the contest) but I am sure that it is top notch and will be a pleasure to build.

Walter,
Got mine in the mail yesterday. I've been watching for the mailman real careful for the last week.... I couldn't wait to open it up and take a look. Very nice! This might be the first laser cut kit I get a chance to build. I got a chuckle when I saw that the bolt holes for the landing gear are even cut out by laser....

After a review of the plans, I wonder what most folks do regarding tank location and adjustment? Just center it up on the needle valve and hope for the best? Would a hatch on the top soften up the fuselage too much? Also, I thought about putting the pushrod inside the fuselage mostly to get rid of the oil-soaking entry point--but that seems to change the assembly sequence, making the fuse buildup harder? And I guess if it is outside, you can easily change the throw on the horn?

Current plan is to use a McCoy .19 orphaned by a crash. Mebbe a 3 oz. tank?
