I am posting the same message I posted over at Stunhangar yesterday as I still have yet to have any form of communication from you regarding these engines since I paid for them over a month ago!

I would really like an explanation for the delay or at least just some form of communication please.






I sent you an email a couple of days ago asking when the 3 Norvel 15's were sent.
They still haven't arrived and I've had engines and kits arrive from both the UK and the USA that were ordered well after sending the funds to you for the Norvels.
Typically first class mail is only 7 - 10 working days from anywhere in the US to Australia.
Can you touch base with me please.
I sent the funds to you on the 28th of June which is over a month ago now.

I hope you are well. I just missed you at the Circle Cutters event. That was really a lot of fun. I gave Mike Schmitt my emial info but have not heard from him. The guy that had the heart attack is he okay? The Gama is a local brach of the AMA. See Link http://gamarc.blogspot.com/. I really dont know what is this guys problem but he told me I would have my motor delivered by Thurday and that he ordered a set of plans that were missing from the Thunderbird kit. He did not order the plans and I dont have a motor. Monday is my deadline for being nice about this.

Johnny,
This is exactly what I went thru with him. After over a month he told me he would check with the postal service. After another week
he told me he found my engines in bin at the post office. The box was torn apart and one of the engines was out of the box. I asked for my $190 back, and that took another week and a half.
He has done this to several paople now,

I conversed with Dave by e-mail yesterday and today. I bought the CLC Super Clown from him.

Here is what he said about his time lately. "A house flood switched my resources and time to the renovation project". I can sympathize with him. In the great Pearl River flood of 1979, we took on 5.5' of nasty water. Had to strip it down to the brick, studs and slab and start over. Took seven months.

Go easy on him. Dave is a nice guy.

Well I have had exactly nothing from Dave since sending the money for the 3 engines.
I've sent repeated emails, no replies
I've sent private messages here and at the Stunthangar, no replies
And I've posted both here and on Stunthangar, with no replies

I would have expected to have seen something from Dave to explain the situation if he was on the level.


Whatever the reasons, I think having sent money to someone deserves some kind of response.
I think I've been conned, and I'm disappointed. It's the very first time via any of the classifieds here or at the Stunthangar.
I will leave others to form their own conclusions.

All I'd like at this stage is some form of acknowledgement from the guy to say he's getting my emails, PM's or has seen what's being posted from others here and at the Stunthangar and explain why so many haven't got what they have paid for.

His excuse to me is that he was travelling for a month.

Not sure how that fits with flood renovations.

It too bad that we have this problem with Mr Shad. I have done business with several people on this site and also CLC. I have say that 99% of them went as they should with no problems. The control line family is a great bunch of people. The only time that I had a deal that I will say "went sour" was with this person. (Mr Shad). I dont think it would have ever been resolved unless I, just by chance ran into him at the Perry Ga, swap meet.; It's hard to make excuses when you are face to face. Nuff said. I hope these deals get resolved for everyone that paid in advance for their purchases. Please dont give up on all the honest to their word people on this and the other site.
