Very nice K&B Torpedo 40R for sale. This is a low time used engine that is in excellent condition both functionally and cosmetically. It is complete, but the Venturi and NVA are not original. The Venturi is a K&B part but did not come on this engine. The NVA is a Super Tigre type NVA. All engine screws have been replaced with socket head screws. With a .350 venturi running on pressure, ten percent nitro fuel, and an APC 8-7 prop, it turns 17,000 RPM here in Tucson. For those not familiar with the Torpedo 40R, it is a rear intake, side exhaust, racing enigne, with dual ball bearings and was produced in the 60's and 70's prior to the introduction of schnuerle ported engines.
