wanted ---berkley mfg/sig mfg c/l scale spitfire

here is a long shot question,
back in the 70's sig produced a line of u/c sport scale kits for .09-.15 eng.one of which was the spitfire i am loking for either a kit to buy or copy any helpwould be great thanx smitty

I looked in vain for the F8F Bearcat in the same series, starting in 1984. Sig said they had kept no archival plans, no old kits either. Duke Fox had no copies either, (he owned the Berkeley line at one time also) There is a gent on ebay (uncle Willie) that has every Berkeley plan ever printed. He has helped me with many, (Cosmic Wind, F8F, and more than I can remember) If you are ready to build from plans, he is a great source.

Hummm I always thought that Frank Ichabellis specialized in Scientific kits and memorabelia. I know that he got a Scientific Snark from me.

Various Berkeley kits show up from on eBay. It has been a while since I have seen the Spitfire there.

There are people who sell plans for the Berkeley kits on eBay. You might try to get hold of any of those people. Right now, there are four different sellers offering Berkeley kit plans on eBay.

One of those is "Uncle Willie". He has all sorts of plans for different sources. His reproductions of those old plans are first class. It is interesting just to go to his website to see what he has.

Had one new in the shrink wrap a couple of years ago. Sold it on ebay. I have a Berkeleys Thunderbolt of the same size and a Top Flite Thunderbolt if helps.
