If anyone has used this item I would appreciate a review on same. I am contemplating purchasing this item or better yet receiving it as a birthday present. I am interested in the drill press operation as reviewed on the earlier models indicate there is as much as 1/8" play. Thanks!!!!

I have the drill press and was not impressed with the quality! You are right when it comes to side play. The up/down gearing is OK, but the side tolerence is way off. You can have mine if you would like to pay the shipping. I haven't used it in years because of this problem.
As far as I''m concerned, the "drill press" application is a joke, and that's what I bought mine for. The ability to hold the tool securely at different angles is handy, but that's about it. Not worth the money. Glen

Received the item today. Thanks loads for the drill press. I happen to have the Dremel 395 that fits it. While these may not be the best it sure beat the alternative which was eyeballing motor mount holes. Time has diminished my eyesight so this will certainly help getting the holes straight. I won't forget your generosity. We cajuns don't forget nice people. I already have it set up because will need to use it soon for a scratch profile I am working on.
