Reactor kit by Walter Umland

The kit came in the mail yesterday and is certainly up to the standards of his other kits. Some may say the wood is a little heavy, but it is exactly as it was in the original kit, which is the way I hoped it would be as the original flew so well. Thanks, Walter.

I thought the wood in my Reactor kits was excellant. As you said the usual Umland standards. The dry fits are outstanding. I will have one of them framed in less than 3 hrs. My engine of choice is one of my Fox.35 Blackhead's, these are what I used on my other 2 in 1957.

I got my Reactor from Walter and have to say that as usual he did an outstanding job on the kit. Certainly my wood was excellent and I really did appreciate the wood tips. The plastic tips were always a turn off for me.
As usual the only thing to say about this kit is Well done Walt.

Make that me four. Don't you just love the way some of these older
designs are built in the air, and not pinned to a work board.

I thought about that and I'm not really sure how one would go about building this on a board. There's not that much to keep straight. He asked me about the plastic tips, said they would be no problem, I said
Please NO!! wood is just fine.
