Does it fit a 5-40 size stud on Cox and OK Cub .049 engines?

Bob, give us a review of the article, not just a product announcement. Tell us what it fits, how much it weighs. Give us the good, the bad, and the ugly (if there is any). On a scale of 1 to 10 what are the various features of this product?

Yes, I would like to know those specifics. The 1" Spnners have been so hard to come by since Froom/Veco went OOB!

Those are perfect, it looks like, for the Little Legends Steve Buso drew up! [photo not recovered: sipcof.gif]

Bill,
"Finally!" A good reason for you to finish up that LL USA-1.

Sorry, could not resist a comment.
Take care my friend,

Len – sorry for being a bit vague but I only had that one prototype and minimal info on it.

The spinners will be on the website but not for a while. Please direct your questions by e-mail or phone and I’ll do my best to help on this end.

The thread is 3.0 MM x .5 MM. Why? Who knows?
The problem is that there are too many different 1/2 A shaft configurations - male or female thread, 4-40, 5-40, various metric, and so on, making it impossible to have a “one size fits all” like the larger engines which are almost entirely 1/4-28 UNF

Even our two .049s have different threads – metric, both male and female.

So, how about some suggestions - what would you like to see?

I'll take all feedback and maybe we can come up with a reasonable solution.

Regarding the quality/workmanship, overall it appears very precise, especially in the cone-to-backplate fit.
If weight becomes an issue, I believe we can go to a slightly smaller hex but that's about it. The cone has about as thin a cross section as is practical.
