I've just completed and test flown this new kit from Select Hobbies and it's a great performer. Power is an OS.15FP, 36" span. I've built a couple of Akro's in the past but I reckon this model flies even better and looks terrific on the end of the lines, really aerobatic too. Wood is good quality and the hardware pack is comprehensive. Anyone interested in building this kit should contact Steve Adams at Select Hobbies. http://selecthobbies.com/

John,

Yes the SIG Akromaster is a bit "from hunger" (I've built 3 of them
for my nephew and grrandsons). It's a good way to find out if there's
any interest at all. I only paid $24 for the kits at Sheldons' in San Jose.

I really like the Peacemaker. I have an apprentice flier (11-12 old)
that was able to do a loop with it in 4 tries without ever having
a handle in his hand. It may be the kid is gifted, or maybe the
plane is that foegiving.

Quote from Steve Adams at Select Hobbies.......

" I will be sending the Cut files off this week. When I know this cost I can get a solid # together.
I 'm working on the drawings for a P-51 and a Spitfire in the same line and want to combine the laser work for shipping.
I want to keep it no more than $40. Email me through the web site and I will keep you up to speed ".
