There is a lot of stupid people on ebay. Sounds like this guy has no idea what he is selling and thinks it is worth big money or he is playing dumb. Naturally there has to be a buyer that is just as stupid.

Bid often and with confidence!!!!! Where have I heard this statement before. I hate it when sellers say things like this like it is going to make a difference.

I have no idea what EARS are?

These were just fictitional ads but are typical of the ones we've all seen since the advent of online auctions and classifieds. I always get a kick out of the guys who market otherwise ordinary stuff but do it with such excitement, like you said they're fishing for the guy who will fall for their "creative marketing".

The "ears" are muffler mounting ears.
