To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine.. and those who don't.

As Ben Franklin said: In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria. In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated
that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine(tequila, rum,
whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
Remember: Water = Poop, Wine = Health
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of ####.
There is no need to thank me for this valuable information: I'm doing it as a public service

Wine is actually good for you if you don't drink too much.

The Bible talks about wine. Jesus turned the water to wine.

2000 years ago there were NO refrigerators so how do you keep your juice form going bad?

If you put juice in a stone crock or pot it will ferment naturally from wild yeast that floats around in the air or wild yeast in the fruit thus you have a way to preserve your juice naturally no refrigator needed. After the juice ferments it is called wine not to be confused with the wine you buy at the local wine store.

Wine now days is more scientific with alcohol in the 9% to 11% range. Back in the Bible days juice was squeezed from grapes or other fruits the sugar content was natural or in the low range which produced wine with alcohol in the 5% to 6% range.

Fermentation is a form of purfication it cleans the water better than a filter. Wine is also predigested food. If you get sick it takes a lot of energy for your body to digest food but if you drink wine when your sick which is predigested all ready your body uses it with very little effort.

All natural preserved juice called wine.

"No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities " (1 Timothy 5:23).

A most interesting dialogue about Wine .............. I make my own wine ....having Italians for neighbours makes this easy ......... I have recently learned of a new hybrid grape being produced in the Napa Valley which it is hoped will be attractive to the more Senior members ...... I hope to be giving this a go this year!................
