So, there's something I want to do and need some advice.
I want to have two tanks feed my Home Furnace.
A buddy of mine did this. He had the two feeds connected into a tee that went to the furnace. Problem was when he bought 300 gallons of fuel each tank had 150 gallons in it. I'm thinking its some Physics Law of Liquids.
Any ideas?
Oh, the reason why I want to do this? I want to start burning Biodiesel - Used Cooking Oil. From what I've read this stuff is a great cleaning agent. I am concerned if I just dump it into my 20+ year old tank, it will loosen up the crud and I'd have some real problems.
The second concern was if I just dumped Used Cooking Oil in my tank I can't readily mix it with what is in it.
So, I thought if I had a smaller, new, dedicated tank; that would be the best. Then I can blend the two fuels in the line, where I know it is clean.
