email link from message

It used to be that I could click on the email icon in a user's message and I got a full eMail template from my mail client--so I could attach files etc.

Now when I click the icon, I can't even see the user's email address and it is a non-standard mail template with no options.

Is there something I need to do different?

This is not a problem from your end, it is a problem from ours. The previous software gave us the option of how to set it up, and I chose to set it so it brought your own e-mail client up with the e-mail address attached. Some forums don't like to let the e-mail address out, so it was rigged this way that you can't see it. I require everyone to be registered with their full name and city/state so we know who they are, and then only registered members can see our e-mail addresses.

With that in mind, We have got to do a hack of the software to get it to do it the other way. That is something I am planning to get done shortly.

This issue has been addressed and clicking on the little email icon now brings up an email in your email client with the poster's address in it.
