Well, my first thought was that maybe you had more than one account. But I checked and that wasn't the case. Now if you are set up to receive e-mail notification when you have a private message, then the message will be contained in the e-mail notification as well. And that is what you are getting. But it would seem that the message must be in your inbox as well.
There will be a flag message at the top of the forum telling you about a private message whenever you check into the lobby (
http://clstunt.com/htdocs/dc/dcboard.php). If you click on this it will take you directly to the inbox and your message(s). But at any time you can also click on your user_menu and then on the left side click on the in box and get your messages there as well. The message will come with a box in front of it. You need to click on the message header in order to read the message.
But it has got to be there.
