i didn't mean to ruin your way of life here most of the club forums I've posted on welcomed me with open arms. this is the first post that was deleted. didn't know it was a bad thing to do. just sitting around the shop with no customers coming in getting ready to be forced out of a business i love and being 57 i just cant see changing career's. on a brighter note someone did order a Evolution .36 Control Line motor. i hope whoever ordered it. enjoys it! you were my 3rd customer. the internet is new territory for me. my son calls me a nub. so as i move forward in my online campaign is there any other suggestion i can move forward with?

This reference wasn't you, Josh. And I don't even know what post you are referring to right now. The one who spammed the board was putting porn on here--just because he could.

I do have certain rules, however, and do try to follow these. The classifieds, for instance, are there for people to sell their surplus stuff, and I do make allowances for some of the garage operators who manufacture specialized stuff that is not available elsewhere. I don't open this up for dealers who are simply buying wholesale and reselling. I don't normally even advertise my own stuff this way and hope you understand that.

Alright, yes, but that was a different issue. I sent you an e-mail stating that you needed to fill out the complete information as stated in the user agreement (which so many people don't bother to read, even though it is brief). You made one post advertising your business--whatever--on the product review forum. Since that was neither a product, nor a review, I deleted that...and sent you an e-mail explaining policy. I further deleted your account since you had not responded no shown any other interest in using the forum.

You are quite welcome to use the forum, but we do need your full information in your account--including your full name plus city/state where you are located. And then, please abide by the rules.

In a way you already did. Yours is an RC site--don't know how much relevance there would be for us. I pay for the site and don't want it cluttered with ads--even if they pay. (And I have had that opportunity). As I said, I let some "garage" operations by since they provide unique products available only from them that are of interest to others in the cl community. But for me to pay for software, bandwidth, and diskspace to provide free advertising for commercial enterprises that are there to make money, well, it just doesn't seem right, does it?

This is a site that I provide free to the CL community. On the "other site" he said "John Brodak made him a deal that he couldn't refuse." I could.

You are welcome to post, asking questions and giving answers. But let's leave the commercial enterprise part of it off.
