I must have done something, but topics are not in date order anymore. Or maybe what I want to say is that replies don't move threads to the top. The newest one at the moment is APC prop holes and it is more than 20 deep in the quiew. I'm missing new stuff because it is way at the bottom of the page. Help.

Hi Russel. You aren't the only one who did this. It is an undocumented "feature" of the forum that trips people up sometimes.
As you enter each forum, at the top you will notice a bar with the following headings:
ID Topic Author Last updated date Replies Views Rating
If you click on any of them, it will change the sort order of the forum to that heading. (Try it. Click on them and see what happens.) The default and the way you want to view it is with the sort order being by last updated date. So click on that and it will return the sort order.
However, you will also notice there is an arrow after the one that is in play. This may point up or down. If it is pointing in the wrong direction it will change the sort order of A to Z and reverse it as Z to A. (Or, in this case, it will show the oldest posts first.) Just click on that heading again and the arrow will reverse and so will the sort order.
And you are fixed!
