Today (3-31-08) last day on discounts

Today, 3-31-08, is the final day of discounts for some IMSI software. Check out emails that you may have received from them recently, or check their web site for details.

As a registered owner of "Turbo CAD Designer", I received an offer to upgrade to "TurboCAD Deluxe v15 Upgrade" for $49.95. I called to see if the "Upgrade" was the full version, and if it applied even if I only am registered as a owner of the "Designer" package.

The answer was "yes" in both cases.

I placed an order on the phone, and the gentleman said it would be shipped today.

So if you have similar circumstances, check with IMSI to see if you qualify for this special upgrade price. Stand alone price v15 Deluxe is $129.95, so this is a pretty good deal.

Yesterday, I recieved an e-mail from the folks at TurboCad. They have extended the offer until the end of April.

This is a great deal if you already have a verrsion of TC, because the upgrade price is only $49.95

They systems now available is really quite good today.

As you know, I'm a board draftsman with only a very passing knowledge of CAD. I'm interested in following such a series (I just found this topic). Unfortunately, I am a Linux user (no Windows around), so the CAD tools I have are different from what you guys are using. I suspect that the basic tools are much the same. Guess we'll see.

Forgot to add. How do I find the first two lessons? The one one showing is lesson three.

Try looking in the archive.

I hope that len will pin each lesson, so it stays in order. I think that would be the best way with this type of instructional forum.
