How Good Is This Engine?

I am not familiar with this engine. It's a Fox .40. I've never known anyone who owned or used one of these. Comments from the Fox experts welcomed.

It is a good stunt engine. A little on the vibratory side, and VERY hard to get broken in, but is powerful and 4-2-4 breaks quite well. Most parts for it are still available from Fox mfg.

So, are you planning to bid on it?. I have also been looking and trying to decide if my Lew Wolard tuned one needs a stablemate or have I got enough stunt engines for now. My wife thinks that I have enough!! but I don't see how that is possible.

I like them a lot despite the weight. Great "classic" stunt run.

so, is that a yes or a no? I wouldn't want to deprive your Humongous of its rightful powerplant

Hey "LongStory".... Last time somebody said this to me it was a car salesman. Never did like that Yugo!

Series 21 heh... aren't they pretty big? Any guess as to the size divot one of these would make?

Looking forward to the next swap meet. Bring that beauty along.

As far as salivating.... I'm starting to do that occasionally... I think the folks here at the home call it drooling.
