The Central Arizona Control Line Club collaborated with the City of Avondale in an outstanding community outreach program, a Fourth of July control line demonstration. The event included a series of flights showcasing a variety of control line genres, a static display and a training session for young potential control line pilots.
The City of Avondale provided the venue, incorporating the presentation into their annual Fourth of July Fireworks Festival, held this year on the third of July at the popular and expansive Phoenix International Raceway.
